I just received this update from Jeff Braun Jr. about an incident that happened yesterday, June 7, 2016, in Cicero. There was a stove fire reported at 3322 South 60th Court. The emergency call came in around 6:45 PM. Engine 3 arrived first and reported a small fire. Following that, all units switched to fireground operations under Red status, except for Engine 1, which was reassigned to cover Morton Park after Berwyn 903 was cleared. The units present at the scene included Engine 2, Engine 3, Truck 1, Truck 2, F-12, and F-14.
Attached are some photos from the County-Wide Fire Photography team. The first image shows firefighters closing a hydrant, followed by shots of a Cicero fire engine at the scene, a Cicero Fire Department fire truck, and another angle of a Cicero fire engine. These visuals really help give context to what happened.
