Here's a note from Jeff Braun Jr. of COUNTY-WIDE FIRE PHOTOGRAPHY: I was driving through Berwyn the other day and spotted a mid-90s E-One pumper sitting in the side lot of Widaman Sign Co. Upon closer inspection, it looks like this unit is being restored there. I'm not sure if the work is complete or still in progress, but the apparatus is labeled "Brownell and Sons Motorsports" with no fire department markings. I’m reaching out to the Chicago Area Fire community to see if anyone can help identify which department this engine belonged to—or if it's now used for something else. Thanks in advance for any information! Whether it's being restored for a special event, converted into a mobile display, or simply given a second life, these engines carry a piece of history with them. If you have any info on this particular unit, feel free to share it with the community. We're all here to learn and keep the legacy alive.
