Because it has a big reduction ratio (10 to 40), nesting uniform particle size, pulverization phenomenon too small, low energy consumption, low equipment cost, easy maintenance, etc., thus cement, building materials, coal, metallurgical and chemical mining And other industries are widely used. Since the end of the 1950s, China has begun trial production of hammer crushers . Although many achievements have been made, the development is relatively slow. No matter the specifications and technical level, the gap is very large compared with the international advanced level. In the past 10 years, due to continuous efforts, the specifications and varieties of hammer crushers in China have gradually increased, and the performance has been continuously improved. The gap with foreign countries has been narrowing.

The hammer crusher can be divided into two types according to the number of rotors: single rotor and double rotor. Among them, the former can be divided into two types: reversible and irreversible. The classification is detailed in the table below. The most widely used in China is the single rotor non-reversible, multi-row hammer hammer crusher.

The size of the hammer crusher is expressed by the rotor diameter D and the length L, where D is the circumferential diameter drawn by the end of the hammerhead; and L is the effective working length of the hammerhead arranged in the axial direction.
