GL software equipped with 14000TEU container ship

The GL SeaScout 2.0 software system has been installed on Reederei Claus-Peter Offen's "MSC SAVONA" 14000TEU container ship. GL Maritime Software's Marine Decision Support System is dedicated to helping vessels optimize their routes and reduce shipping costs in a variety of sea and weather conditions while ensuring safe navigation.
GL SeaScout is an integrated marine system that uses advanced computer technology to calculate sea conditions, forecast sea waves and weather, display cargo data, provide information for crews to respond to the environment, select heading, speed, and display alerts.
When equipped with the "MSC SAVONA" 14000TEU container ship, GL cooperated with the Korean construction shipyard. The GL SeaScout is integrated with the new radar based on the ocean wave measurement system and is directly connected to the bridge console.
