Efficient and multifunctional straw returning machine came out

The Jiangsu Science and Technology Project titled "Research and Development of High-efficiency Multi-functional Straw Returning Technology and Machine Tools" has recently conducted a live equipment demonstration in Guanyun County, Lianyungang City. This project, primarily led by the Institute of Agricultural Mechanization under the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, showcased its newly developed "1GJQN-165 Straw Crushing-Rotary Till Combination Multi-purpose Machine." During the event, the machine was successfully used to crush cotton straw, receiving positive feedback from local officials, agricultural experts, and farmers. The machine had previously passed rigorous testing at the Jiangsu Agricultural Machinery Testing Station, meeting all the required technical specifications. Designed with a modular structure, the machine not only simplifies assembly but also addresses issues related to unit suspension and longitudinal stability. Its multi-functional design allows it to be used independently as a crushing machine or a rotary tiller, depending on farming needs, or combined into a single versatile unit, significantly enhancing its adaptability. The machine features a "two-way output straw crushing transmission box," ensuring stable power transmission and smooth operation. The grinding cutter shaft is symmetrically staggered, providing balanced force distribution, which reduces vibration and improves overall performance. Additionally, the machine incorporates interchangeable cutting tools—either a pulverizing knife or hammer—to accommodate different crop types and field conditions. Field tests have demonstrated that the machine is capable of efficiently crushing and returning both short-stalk crops like rice and wheat, as well as tall crops such as corn and cotton. By effectively managing straw waste, the technology helps reduce environmental pollution caused by burning straw and increases soil organic matter, contributing to sustainable agricultural practices. This innovation marks a significant step forward in improving straw management and promoting eco-friendly farming methods in the region.
