A big thank you to the men in red for quickly responding to a house fire on Oxford and Washington this afternoon. The Chicago Ridge Fire Department was supported by multiple agencies, including North Palos Fire Department, Burbank FD, Bedford Park FD, Bridgeview FD, and Oak Lawn FD. Their swift response helped keep the situation under control and ensured everyone’s safety.
Officers Kaspar and Jenen assisted the homeowner in safely evacuating their two dogs. After the fire was fully extinguished, the two cats were found unharmed. Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident.
It's moments like these that remind us of the strong teamwork and dedication within our community. The collaboration between departments shows how far we’ll go to protect and serve.
