Here's a message from Eric Haak:

On Sunday afternoon (June 2), firefighters from Chicago’s 6th Battalion faced a challenging rescue situation at 53rd and Union. A tree trimmer was stuck upside down at a moderate height with a broken leg. Truck 18 positioned its ladder to support the victim while Squad 5 and Tower Ladder 39 made their way to the scene. With the man’s weight resting on the ladder, the slow and careful process of freeing him began. Eventually, Tower Ladder 39 maneuvered its basket underneath the victim, and he was safely lowered to the ground. The entire operation took approximately 45 minutes. Due to heavy rain, the only access available for Tower Ladder 39 was through a soft, vacant lot. To stabilize their equipment, they used fence posts that were being installed on the property.
