Temperature measurement without power sensor

In the 2nd substation room of Jijingyuan, Eco-city, the construction personnel are disassembling the original switchgear and installing 6 sets of equipment such as new intelligent power distribution terminal, distribution automation DC power supply cabinet and distribution automation communication cabinet one by one to the designated location. What we are doing is a sub-item of the National 863 Program's Intelligent Distribution Power Park Technology Integration Research and Demonstration Project. It will replace the equipment for the transformer room and further monitor the power quality and improve the power transmission safety. The relevant person in charge at the scene said.

The new system uses passive temperature measurement equipment. Cable joints, transformers and other important parts need to be measured for temperature. Once the temperature is overheated, it will automatically alarm and even automatically cut and ensure the safety of the equipment. In the past, the temperature measuring sensors used batteries as the power source, but the battery has a long life. If there is a special situation and there is a danger of explosion, the new equipment adopts a passive temperature measuring device, which does not require a battery or a wiring. The wireless excitation method acquires electrical energy and uploads the measured temperature to the host. In this way, by monitoring the temperature of each key part of the equipment in real time, the operation of the equipment can be understood from one aspect, and the problem can be detected early, and the fault can be eliminated as soon as possible without causing a power outage, thereby improving the reliability of the power supply. At the same time, according to the temperature change and position, the faulty equipment can be diagnosed and repaired in time.

Compound communication two ways to transmit information

Remote signaling, telemetry and remote control are a major feature of smart grids. To achieve remote control, it is necessary to ensure timely and reliable communication. The new system adopts a composite communication design, which uses optical fiber communication and wireless network communication. When there is a problem with the optical fiber, the signal is not interrupted, and the operation indexes of each device in the substation and the operation of the device can be known at any time. When a fault occurs, timely understand the fault details from the central control room, perform remote control, cut the load, and reduce the power outage time.

Through the research and application of new topics, the eco-city smart grid will be further upgraded, the power supply automation and power supply reliability will be improved, power outage time will be reduced, and the foundation for the development of smart cities will be laid.
