Huntley FD apparatus

Scott Peterson shared several images of fire apparatus from the Huntley Fire Protection District. Although Huntley is not yet listed on the site, these photos give a great preview of their new equipment. In this collection, you can see the unique feature on the new Ferrera engine (Engine 944), where the Huntley name lights up on the front grill—unlike other Ferrera units in the area that display the brand name. Another notable detail is the roll-up door on the rear hose bed, which provides the required NFPA containment system for hoses. Most manufacturers have been using cargo-style netting, but Huntley has opted for this more modern and functional design. The images also showcase other units in the district, including Engine 940, Engine 942, Tanker 983, Mini-pumper 952, and the ambulance. Each vehicle appears well-equipped and ready for service. These photos are a great way to get a first look at the latest additions to the Huntley Fire Protection District fleet.
